Qualcomm was also in the news for being replaced as the modem choice for the next-generation iPhone, while simultaneously releasing information that paints an incredible picture of its wireless performance metrics compared to Intel modem technology. Google updates a lot of its cloud services including integrating NVIDIA Tesla P4 GPUs for inference at Google Clould Next, and both AMD and Intel have impressive earnings results for the quarter.
